Chris is a registered nurse and midwife, health scientist, and academic whose consulting practice sits at the intersection of clinical care and regulatory accountability.

For more than three decades she has worked inside and alongside health, disability and aged care organisations — as a clinician, executive, educator and independent adviser. That combination gives her a rare view of how policies written in boardrooms actually land in bedrooms, wards and community settings.

Chris now leads the Coombs Collective from Tamworth, NSW, a consulting practice working with providers across Australia and internationally on governance, quality improvement and compliance readiness.
